Fender and contemporary country music star Brad Paisley have joined forces to create a new model of Telecaster guitar that fully reflects his playing style. Now a piece of Nashville can come to your living room.
The body of the guitar is made of spruce top and bottom and a core of the less common exotic wood pavlovnia. This gives it a lower weight and resonance similar to acoustic instruments. The maple neck bolted to it has a pleasing Enhanced V profile that fits your hand quite naturally; whether you're fifteen or seventy years old. The maple fingerboard is fitted with twenty-one Medium Jumbo frets, allowing your fingers to produce some seriously big bends and fast movement across the entire fingerboard.
Two single-coil pickups take care of the sound, namely the ´64 Tele and Twisted Tele neck pickups, offering a wide range of tones for different musical styles and positions. They are controlled by volume potentiometers, tone controls and a three-position toggle switch. The strings are traditionally mounted in a solid bridge. The final impression is enhanced by a plastic pickguard with "paisley" motifs in black and silver, a subtle "relic" design and stylish vintage-style tuning mechanisms.
Included in the price of the instrument is a gig-bag in which the guitar is delivered.
