The poplar body of this guitar is finished with a glossy polyurethane lacquer, while the maple neck in the popular C-shape ensures comfortable playability and a good finish. The Indian Laurel fretboard is fitted with 21 Medium Jumbo frets and pearl markers to help you find your way around the fingerboard, and not just in the beginning.
Three single-coil pickups and a standard five-position toggle switch give the instrument the classic sound and features of a Stratocaster.
First built in 1953, the Stratocaster is one of the most important electric guitar designs, from which countless other models have been derived. It was the first guitar to be mass-produced and featured a double cutaway body and other technical innovations such as a vintage tremolo, the use of three pickups with a five-position toggle switch, and a jack socket arrangement. Together with the Telecaster, it forms the basis of Fender guitar production and as such has been in continuous production since its introduction in 1954.
