Acoustic guitars from the AE series of the Japanese brand Ibanez offer modern design, good playability and great sound projection.
The sound of this guitar is provided by an Ibanez T-bar pickup with an Ibanez Custom preamp. The front board with reduced Scalloped X ribbing is made of solid okoumé, while the back and sides are laminated okoumé. The body of the guitar is covered with gloss lacquer. Glued to the exotic nyatoh wood neck is a pau ferro fingerboard embellished with a decorative wood inlay in a vine leaf design.
The strings are mounted in chrome-plated 18:1 gears. Bone compensated saddle and zero fret provide the strings with ideal resonance. The Ibanez Advantage pegs offer the advantages of easy handling and a solid string fit over standard models. The imitation tortoiseshell pickguard protects the instrument's wood from scratches. The beautiful workmanship is accentuated by white trim and a decorative rosette composed of mother-of-pearl (Abalone) and maple.
