The MPC X is a standalone music production center featuring a 10.1" multi-touch full-color screen, 16 fast-response, dynamic strike pads, full menu control buttons, a large master controller, and 16 Q-link rotary knobs with OLED backlighting. All designed for maximum visibility. With the simplicity of touch controls akin to smartphones and tablets combined with full production functionality, loops and samples can be triggered, edited, step-sequencer programmed, effects recorded, added and mixed, and much more in real time. A rich selection of VST tools, a 10GB sound bank and direct HW monitoring make MPC X literally the hub of all your production equipment.
The smooth operation of the device is supported by an integrated quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM. 16GB of storage space can be further expanded by connecting an SSD, HDD, SD card or USB drive.
The MPC X offers a wide range of options. You can connect MIDI controllers, drum modules, synthesizers and of course microphones and musical instruments. The CV/Gate outputs are really exceptional, through which you can control classic synthesizers and similar instruments in an analogue way. The manufacturers have not forgotten about DJ turntables and have integrated an RCA input.
The whole device works completely independently using the MPC 2.0 software, which can be connected to a PC/MAC if necessary, even via your favorite DAW (Ableton Live, Cubase, Pro Tools ...). In this case, you can also use the station as a high-performance MIDI controller.
