Wireless connection to iPad, iPhone or Mac
The new microKEY Air supports "Apple Bluetooth Low Energy MIDI" You can easily connect to iPad/iPhone music apps such as KORG Gadget, KORG Module and GarageBand, as well as to music and MIDI compatible programs you have on your Mac. Careful matching of Bluetooth functions delivers excellent stability and minimal latency, plus all without wires and cables.

One month without battery replacement
Assuming an average of one hour of use per day, the battery will allow approximately one month of operation without replacement. Even better, the microKEY Air runs on just two AA batteries.

USB or no USB?
Of course, the microKEY Air can also be connected via a traditional USB cable. Because the microKEY is then simultaneously charged via USB, only a single USB cable is needed to connect it to a Mac or Windows. There is no need to install any drivers, just plug in and start playing. The second generation also brings connectivity with iPad and iPhone. All you need is an Apple Lightning to USB camera adapter and a single USB cable, then you can take full advantage of handy apps like KORG Gadget, KORG Module or GarageBand.

Connect the pedal
The 37-, 49-, and 61-key model variants feature an input for connecting a damper pedal. The 25-key version instead offers a sustain button that implements the damper function. Furthermore, the full range of MIDI tones can be played on all model variants using the octave button and transpose function simultaneously. The 37, 49 and 61-key variants are equipped with pitch bend wheels as well as modulation control wheels. These functions can be controlled via the joystick on the 25-key version, as well as the arpeggiator function, so despite the compact size of this model you have full control of all these important parameters at hand.

The microKEY comes with a bundle of music software, including special editions of the popular KORG Gadget and KORG Module plus the KORG Legacy Collection, featuring five classic KORG instruments in plug-in form.
