The AC15 all-amp combo is still prized by the music community today for its ability to provide guitars with a warm, articulate tone and the choice of two channels. The AC15C1X is its contemporary interpretation, combining traditional elements with modern ones. It is a reliable and sonically precise instrument for studio work and for playing in clubs, bars and theatres.
It is a two-channel unit with 15 watts of power. The main panel offers inputs for each of the channels (Normal, Top Boost), separate volume controls, a two-band equalizer for the Top Boost channel, Master Volume and Tone Cut potentiometers for the end amp section, and controls for the built-in Reverb and Tremolo effects. On the rear panel, you'll find outputs to external speakers (16/8 ohm impedance) and an input for a VFS2A footswitch (footswitch not included).
Sound projection is handled by a 12-inch Celestion Alnico Blue speaker. The classic Vox design is catered for by the front face voicing fabric with the characteristic vintage Diamond design.
