MPX8 is a standalone SD sampler with MPC pads.
The MPX8 is one of the most innovative Akai Professional pad tools available today. Users can load virtually any sample onto the SD card into the MPX8 (in Akai format) and then assign that sample to any of the eight backlit, velocity-sensitive pads. The MPX8 also includes a huge library of built-in standard audio samples that can be used instantly for live performance; whether you're in front of a crowd, on the radio or in the studio. The bright blue backlit display and intuitive controls ensure it's comfortable to operate in any lighting conditions. It includes a headphone output with a 3.5mm jack and two symmetrical 6.3mm jack outputs. From the MIDI world, there's a classic MIDI five-pin and USB MIDI inputs and outputs. The sampler has no microphone input.
