This guitar comes from the Ibanez Artwood series, which offers classic Dreadnought guitars in both pure acoustic and electroacoustic versions. Its strengths are a solid soundboard, well selected materials and precise workmanship, resulting in a very high quality sound. These guitars are often referred to as instruments that are among the best in terms of value for money. In their price range, they outperform even much more expensive instruments. This is also the reason for their high popularity.

The front of the guitar body is made of solid cedar, while the sides and back are made of plywood. The neck is made of exotic nyatoh wood and is fitted with a 20-fret fingerboard made of fig wood. The resonance of the solid soundboard is supported by the traditional X ribbing, while white position markers make it easy to navigate the fingerboard surface. The appearance of the body is beautified by a wooden multi-layer rosette and dark binding.

Amplification is handled by the company's signature underdrive piezo pickup, along with an Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp with two-band EQ and built-in tuner. The signal from the guitar can be output via a standard instrument cable (6.3 mm jack) or a balanced XLR output.

Strings are held in chrome Die-Cast tuners and a figwood fingerboard with Ibanez Advantage pegs, which are easier to manipulate than standard models. In addition, the string and pegs hold the string firmly in the optimal position, i.e. there is no loosening of the pegs as the string tension increases. The guitar's peg is shaped to optimally transmit the vibrations of the string to achieve the best possible sound.
