GODIN A6 Ultra Cognac Burst HG

The A series offers instruments that fully reflect Godin's philosophy - they are atypical models of hybrid electroacoustic instruments with unusual sound possibilities and interesting design. The advantage of these instruments is that they combine the sound of acoustic guitars or basses, the comfort of playing electric instruments and often much more. And as is usual with Godin, precision craftsmanship, the use of quality materials and great sound are a given.

The body of this instrument is made from chambered silver-leaf maple with a solid cedar top, making the sound very natural, colourful, balanced and lively. Glued to the mahogany neck is a fingerboard made of modern richlite composite material fitted with 22 frets.

Godin has used a dual pickup system here. Firstly, it is an underdrive piezo pickup, which is complemented by a specially developed preamp with volume control and 3-band equalizer. The second way is a neck-mounted mini-humbucker, designated as the Godin GJN1, which also has volume control and a 2-band EQ. Two outputs are also used, one for a pure electric signal and the other for an acoustic mix.

The instrument's fingerboard is made of richlite, as is the fingerboard, while the strings on the other side lead into high-quality tuning machines.
