FENDER Yngwie Malmsteen Stratocaster RW VW

This Stratocaster is the signature model of the world-famous Swedish guitar virtuoso Yngwie Malmsteen, who set new standards for speed and precision on the electric guitar in the early 1980s and founded a whole new style of playing - neo-classical shred. He inspired several generations of guitarists to practice and perfect their technique on a regular basis.

The body of the guitar is made of alder wood. The finish in the form of polyurethane lacquer is a guarantee of long life/gloss of the lacquer and the chosen colour finish. A bolted maple neck with a pleasing Modern C profile is glued to a select rosewood fingerboard fitted with twenty-one Super Jumbo frets. The guitar's recessed fingerboard allows guitarists to play at even greater speeds with the need to exert less pressure on the strings. Along with the long and wide Super Jumbo frets, it also provides a great platform for fancy bending, where you'll be able to push/pull a note an interval higher than you'd hoped (unless you've put unnecessarily thick strings on the guitar).

Three specially tuned Seymour Duncan YJM Fury single-coil pickups give the instrument precise sound articulation and a beautifully full tone for wading through the waters of rock, neo-classical shred, hard rock or metal. Two tone controls, a volume potentiometer, and a three-position pickup switch are used to make adjustments.

The strings are mounted across the zero brass fret in closed tuning machines (Vintage F Stamped)) and in a traditional single-turn synchronized tremolo. The stylish look of the guitar is accentuated by the company's signature logo on the headstock, the subtle patina of the potentiometers (Aged), chrome hardware and a three-layer pickguard that also protects the lacquer from scratches.

The guitar comes in a luxurious tweed case.
