RODE NT1-A NEW

On Tuesday, September 1, 2009, RODE celebrated 15 years since the introduction of the NT1 microphone, or NT1-A, to the worldwide market. On this occasion, the company released a reissue of this microphone. The package now includes a cushioned holder, pop filter, cable and an instructional DVD.

The first pieces from 1995, then still labelled NT1, were to find their way into professional recording studios. The combination of clarity, large dynamic range and high SPL, contributed to their great popularity among professionals and home studio environments alike.

The next step was to improve the design of the microphone housing and electronics, thereby reducing the inherent noise. After these modifications, the microphone is now known as the NT1-A, and in 2003 it became one of the best-selling microphones worldwide.
