Artist Elite Series two-system instrument microphone for big drum pickup. Two microphone capsules are housed in a common housing - one cardioid condenser, the other cardioid dynamic. The dynamic insert transmits the aggressive attack of the drum pedal's beater, while the condenser insert captures the spectrum of drum body tones. The dynamic insert's side input holes are overlaid by two layers of densely knitted mesh, which precisely controls the sensing of off-axis signals on the memran. The membrane of the capacitor insert is optimally tensioned and has undergone an artificial "aging" process to ensure long-term consistency and stability.
