The LG model series from British manufacturer Laney is another series that targets beginners or advanced players. Although these are cameras that are among the cheaper ones in terms of price, there is no need that these products are in any way shoddy, quite the contrary. The excellent price/quality ratio makes these instruments a very good choice. The Laney LG is aimed at players who demand, in particular, a perfect clean and rock-distorted sound that stems from the richness and clarity of tone.
The LG 12 in particular is the smallest member of this family. This 2-channel transistor unit has a power output of 10W and is equipped with a 6.5-inch diameter speaker. It is therefore an ideal solution for home practice.
All controls can be found on the front panel. Behind the guitar input is the On switch, which activates the second channel, and the associated Drive potentiometer, which adjusts the strength of the distortion. Both channels have common EQ corrections, i.e. Bass, Middle and Treble potentiometers. The last control is Volume, which is followed only by the headphone output and input for external devices such as CD or mp3 players.
The Laney LG12 is a well-built guitar combo that, thanks to its equipment, can handle everything you may ask of it.
